NBA Props Picks – Cash in On the Game Within the Game, Mad Suns Player Props Picks
May 19, 2010
NBA betting buffs that love to bet on the game within the game will enjoy this in-depth analysis and expert NBA props picks on three Phoenix Suns players and their respective efforts in tonight’s Game 2 matchup between the Suns and Los Angeles Lakers.
Nash and his Suns teammates will be looking to put forth a much better effort than they produced in their Game 1 rout at the hands of the Lakers – and NBA gamblers everywhere could cash in by nailing one – or all – of the following props picks.
With tip-off time just hours away, let me get started.
Steve Nash Total Points
Over 18½ Pts -115
Under 18½ Pts -115
Analysis: Nash is averaging 17.4 points per game in the playoffs but scored just 13 points on 5 of 10 shooting from the field against the Lakers in Game 1 while topping this O/U total just three times in his last 10 playoff games. I’m going to play Nash to reach 19 points tonight out of sheer desperation if nothing else as the Suns challenge L.A. for the outright road win and ATS cover.
Expert NBA Picks: Over 18½ Points
Amare Stoudemire Total Points and Rebounds
Over 30½ Pts+Rebs -120
Under 30½ Pts+Rebs -110
Analysis: Stoudemire is averaging 20.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game this postseason and has topped this set O/U total just four times in his last 10 games. Stoudemire put up 23 points in Game 1 but only managed to pull down a lowly three rebounds in his team’s blowout loss. Having topped this O/U total three times in his last five games, I say Stoudemire narrowly tops this mark tonight.
Expert NBA Picks: Over 30½ Pts+Rebs
Jason Richardson Total Points and Assists
Over 19½ Pts+Assists -110
Under 19½ Pts+Assists -120
Analysis: Richardson is averaging 21.3 points but just 1.2 assists per game this postseason but was held to just 15 points on 6 of 12 shooting from the field against the Lakers in Game 1. Maybe it’s me, but I just don’t see J-Rich topping this O/U total tonight as he has to expend an obscene amount of energy just to guard Kobe Bryant.
Expert NBA Picks: Under 19½ Pts+Assists
