NBA Playoff Parlay – Heat at Hawks
April 22, 2009
The Atlanta Hawks (48-35 SU, 44-38-1 ATS, 38-43-2 O/U) will look to take a 2-0 series lead over the Miami Heat (43-40 SU, 40-41-2 ATS, 45-37-1 O/U) when they meet at Philips Arena in the second game of their first-round playoff series tonight at 8 PM ET.
The Hawks defeated Miami 90-64 in Game 1 on Sunday, covering the spread for BetOnline NBA online betting backers as a 4.5-point favorite while the 154 combined points played well Under the 186.5-point O/U total.
High-flying forward Josh Smith scored a game-high 23 points to go along with 10 rebounds for Atlanta, while shooting guard Joe Johnson added 15 points.
Dwyane Wade led Miami with 19 points while rookie forward Michael Beasley added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

Under 183½ -110
Analysis: Just like I advised BetOnline NBA sports betting members prior to the start of this series, I just don’t believe the Miami Heat have enough competent complimentary stars to hang with the Atlanta Hawks in this series.
I fully expect the Atlanta Hawks to win and cover the spread for the second straight game against the Heat while playing Over the set O/U total for the first time in the last six meetings.
NBA Free Picks: Atlanta Hawks -5 Points/Over 183½ Total Points
