NBA Parlay – Timberwolves at Spurs
March 17, 2009
The Minnesota Timberwolves (20-46 SU, 29-36-1 ATS, 34-30-2 O/U) have won two of their last three games going an identical 2-1 ATS during the span.
The San Antonio Spurs (44-22 SU, 34-30-2 ATS, 31-34-1 O/U) have dropped two of their last three while going an identical 1-2 ATS during the span.
Both teams will be trying to pick up an SU and ATS victory in the BetOnline Sportsbook when they meet at the AT&T Center tonight.
The Timberwolves got a team-high 22 points from rookie center Kevin Love in their 108-100 win over the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday.
Minnesota covered the spread for BetOnline NBA sports betting backers as a 5-point home underdog while the final score played over the 190.5-point total.
Veteran point guard Tony Parker scored a team-high 28 points for the Spurs in its 78-76 loss to Oklahoma City on Monday night.
The Spurs failed to cash in for bettors as a 5-point road favorite while the game played under the 190-point O/U total.

San Antonio Spurs -11 -110
Over 191½ -110
Under 191½ -110
Analysis: The Spurs may be the superior team in this matchup – and are also playing at home – but I’m starting to lose a lot of trust in them as they have been playing totally uninspiring basketball lately.
I say, take the Timberwolves to cover the double-digit spread despite being on the road – just like they did in their last road contest against the Portland Trailblazers.
I haven’t written it much this season, but I like the Timberwolves to cover.
NBA Free Picks: Minnesota +11 Points/Under 191½ Total Points
