When it comes to parlay betting, fans just need to find the best parlay wagers available. It doesn’t matter if they have to skip a day, which they will have to do in order to play this parlay.
That’s just the nature of parlay betting. The two best games to put into this weekend’s NBA Parlay is in the game tonight between the Hawks and Heat and the game on Sunday between the Nuggets and Mavericks.
Let’s analyze both parts of the parlay.
Parlay Game #1: Atlanta Hawks vs. Miami Heat
Spread: Hawks +5
BetOnline Total: 182
Analysis: Atlanta is receiving 5 points in this game after beating the Heat 81 to 71 and 106 to 91 in the last two games. That’s just strange to me because if the last two games tell us anything, it’s that the Hawks are clearly the better team. Joe Johnson, Mike Bibby and Josh Smith have been fantastic for Atlanta in the last two games and I really don’t see how Miami counters the play of those three. Dwayne Wade has been fantastic as usual, but it hasn’t been enough as the Hawks have been shutting everyone else down. I just feel that Atlanta is on a roll and will put this series to bed in this game. So, I’m going with the Hawks and taking the points.
Pick: Atlanta Hawks at +5
Parlay Game #2: Dallas Mavericks vs. Denver Nuggets
Spread: Nuggets -5 ½
BetOnline Total: 206 ½
Analysis: Denver was just awesome in their 4 to 1 pasting of the New Orleans Hornets in their first series of the NBA Playoffs. The Nuggets beat New Orleans by 58 points in Game 4 and then waxed New Orleans by 21 in Game 5. Dallas has been playing at a high level as well and against steeper competition when taking down the San Antonio Spurs in the first round. These teams are very evenly matched with scorers at the forward position, Dirk Nowitzki for the Mavs and Carmelo Anthony for the Nuggets, and two fantastic point guards in Jason Kidd for the Mavs and Chauncey Billups for the Nuggets. Usually, I’d take the points in this game when faced with two seemingly carbon copy teams, but I’ve got a better idea. If both teams play the type of defense their coaches want, then this game should go under 206 ½. That’s what I’m putting into the parlay.
Pick: Under the BetOnline Total of 206 ½
