NBA Finals Match-ups: Get Terrific Odds on Which Teams Will Face Each Other in the End
With the NBA regular season coming to an end and the playoffs just around the corner, BetOnline Sportsbook is offering some exciting wagering opportunities on possibly matchups for the Finals.
Why is this bet so advantageous to gamblers? Because no matter which match-up bettors choose, they are assured of receiving more than even money on their bet. That’s rare in sports betting.
Let’s analyze the top betting opportunities for gamblers in the NBA Finals Match-ups.
NBA Finals Match-ups
- Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers +110 – - This is the likeliest match-up and bettors shouldn’t shy away from it. Cleveland is 39 and 1 at home and with a game against the 76’ers on Wednesday night, they are assured of at least a 39 and 2 record. In any 7 game series, the Cavs are going to be virtually unbeatable since they will have the best record in the NBA throughout the playoffs. Los Angeles is getting really, really good at the right time. The odds are terrific for the most likely match-up in the Finals.
- Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers +250 – - The Celtics rested Kevin Garnett until the playoffs. Now, the playoffs are here. Was it the right decision? Probably. With a healthy, happy Garnett the Celtics become one of the best teams in the NBA. They have the leadership to beat the Cavs in the Eastern Conference and get themselves into a repeat Finals against the Lakers. Again, the odds are fantastic at +250.
- Orlando Magic vs. Los Angeles Lakers +400 – - The Magic will have to really step it up in the playoffs to get past either LeBron James and the Cavs or Kevin Garnett and the Celtics but if they do then getting 4 to 1 on them to face Los Angeles is huge. With Dwight Howard, the Magic have an outside shot. The key with this bet is for bettors to understand that they are getting good odds on a long shot proposition.
- Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Denver Nuggets +1200 – - If the Lakers don’t make it, then the team representing the West will be the Denver Nuggets. The likelihood of this happening isn’t very good, but L.A. could suffer an injury or two and Denver does have Chauncey Billups. That’s the key. L.A. would need to just get hurt and Denver would have to get a perfect game out of Chauncey virtually every time he stepped onto the court. Hey, the sportsbook isn’t offering 12 to 1 for nothing!
- Boston Celtics vs. Denver Nuggets +2500 – - If gamblers believe that Denver has a real shot, then it’s essential to bet the Celtics and the Cavs in this wagering category. Boston has a real big chance of upsetting Cleveland and the odds, +2500 versus +1200, is a huge difference. Of course, the validity of this wager depends on whether or not gamblers truly believe the Lakers can be upset in the Western Conference.
- Orlando Magic vs. Denver Nuggets +3500 – - Stranger things have happened in the NBA. Remember the one year when the Houston Rockets upset the Los Angeles Lakers with Magic Johnson and Kareem to make it to the Finals? Betting the Magic versus Denver would require gamblers to really take a long shot bettor’s point-of-view, but the odds are fantastic and these are both very good teams that just need to make a run at the right time.
