NBA Easy Pickens – Wizards vs 76ers
February 1, 2009
The Washington Wizards (9-36 SU, 17-28 ATS, 17-26-2 O/U) have lost four straight games in the BetOnline Sportsbook, failing to cover the spread each time out for BetOnline NBA sports betting fanatics.
The Philadelphia 76ers (22-22 SU, 22-22 ATS, 18-24-2 O/U) have alternated wins and losses in each of their last five games.
Tonight, the longtime Eastern Conference foes will each look to record an SU and ATS win for BetOnline NBA sports betting members everywhere.
The Wizards were pounded (once again) in its 93-71 loss to the Miami Heat on Wednesday, failing to cover the spread as 8.5-point road underdogs while the game’s 164 combined points went well UNDER the night’s posted total of 191.
All-star forward Antawn Jamison scored a game-high 21 points to go with 12 rebounds for a double-double performance, while fellow forward Caron Butler added 18 points in a losing effort.
Unfortunately, the Wizards shot a pathetic 37 percent from the field in getting outscored in each of the final three quarters.
"We talked about playing with discipline and within our design," Tapscott said. "That’s critical for us."
The Sixers dominated the fourth quarter and came roaring back to defeat the Houston Rockets 95-93 on Wednesday, cashing in for BetOnline NBA sports bettors as 5-point road underdogs while the game’s combined 188 points went UNDER the posted O/U total of 194.
Veteran forward Elton Brand, back from a dislocated shoulder injury, led the 76ers with 14 points and seven rebounds while athletic swingman Andre Iguodala added 20 points and mediocre center Samuel Dalembert grabbed 13 rebounds in the win.
"I felt great," Brand said. "It’s all about getting victories. I’m being aggressive and just fitting in with the team. I go out and play and get my post-ups and shots in the flow of the game. We have a great team."
Interim head coach Tony DiLeo has guided the Sixers to a 13-8 record since replacing the fired Maurice Cheeks.
"I really like coaching this team," said DiLeo, whose Sixers won for the ninth time in 11 games. "Great attitude, great effort every night."

Analysis: I have absolutely no idea why anyone would want to wager on the pathetic Washington Wizards at this point, which is exactly why I urge all of my fellow BetOnline NBA sports betting fanatics to roll with the improving 76ers to win and cover the spread in this contest.
Philly has already blown the Wizards out of the water once at home this season and I expect tonight’s contest to provide a similar outcome.
