NBA Basketball Betting – Orlando, San Antonio, New York in Action on Wednesday

Where: Amway Center, Orlando, Florida

Analysis: Sacramento’s got to take on the Miami Heat on Tuesday night as +13 point road dogs in the NBA sportsbook. That won’t help their cause versus Superman Dwight Howard and the Magic on Wednesday! Orlando has been on a roll lately going 5 and 2 ATS in their last 7 games.

Orlando appears to play in waves as far as the sports betting odds are concerned. The Magic went 0 and 3 ATS in the 3 games preceding their 5 and 2 ATS run. I don’t believe the Kings have what it takes to cost hoop handicappers money on Feb. 23rd. Orlando should be ready to steal the Kings’ crown. I believe they blow out Sacramento in this matchup.

Oklahoma City Thunder (35-19) at San Antonio Spurs (46-10)

Analysis: Oklahoma City is an exciting team but they don’t play D the way that San Antonio does. The Spurs are the best team in the NBA at covering online sports betting spread because they shut down teams defensively. San Antonio allows teams to score only 96.3 points per game. Not great, you say? S.A. scores 103.5 points per.

So, the Thunder is gong to have a major issue on Wednesday night. They’re playing a team that doesn’t mind an up and down run and gun game but that can shut them down from running and gunning. The last time these two teams met, on New Year’s Day last month, S.A. dominated the Thunder 101 to 74.

It might not be that bad on Feb. 23rd, but it’s not going to be close enough for the Spurs to lose ATS.

Analysis: I’m handicapping this game with the expectation that ‘Melo, because NYK has an off day on Tuesday, will suit up for the team he’s always wanted to play for. I just don’t see how Amare and ‘Melo on the frontline with Chauncey playing point is going to lead to New York not spanking the Bucks mercilessly on February 23rd.

Chauncey averages 16.5 points per game. Amare can put up 25 and ‘Melo can put up over 25. That’s 66.5 points for the Knicks just with Amare, Carmelo and Chauncey. The Bucks average only 91.3 points. I love the new look Knicks to make a statement on Wednesday night.
