The New York Knicks and the Charlotte Bobcats will both be looking to bounce back from losses in their respective regular season openers when they square off at Time Warner Cable Arena tonight at 7 PM ET.

The Knicks were roasted and toasted by the Miami Heat, losing 115-93 on Wednesday and failing to cover the spread for BetUS NBA sports betting backers as 5-point road underdogs while the  game’s 208 combined points played Over the 207-point O/U total.

David Lee and Danilo Gallinari each scored a team-high 22 points for New York in the loss.

"We couldn’t make shots and couldn’t stop them," D’Antoni said. "That’s not a good combo."

The Bobcats were pounded by the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, losing 92-59 and failing to cover the game’s NBA point spread as 10-point road underdogs while the combined score played Under the 183-point O/U total.

Gerald Wallace was the only player to reach double figures in scoring for the Bobcats with 10 points in the loss.

Here is a look at tonight’s key trends and NBA betting odds, followed by my in-depth analysis and expert NBA Free Picks.

  • Knicks are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss.
  • Knicks are 24-9-1 ATS in their last 34 road games.
  • Bobcats are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games as a home favorite.
  • Bobcats are 15-6 ATS in their last 21 home games.
  • Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Charlotte.
  • Knicks are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Charlotte.
  • Knicks are 4-10 ATS in the last 14 meetings.

NBA Odds

  • New York Kicks +1½ -110
  • Charlotte Bobcats -1½ -110
  • Over/Under 196 -110

Analysis: The Bobcats looked absolutely pitiful in their season-opener after winning a franchise-record 35 games last season in Hal of Fame head coach Larry Brown’s first season with the club but have beaten the Knicks in two consecutive games and I like Charlotte to win again tonight and cover the spread in the process.

While the Knicks have gone 6-2 ATS in their last eight games following an SU loss and an impressive 24-9-1 ATS in their last 34 road games, but the Bobcats have gone a solid 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games as a home favorite and 15-6 ATS in their last 21 home games.

The Knicks have gone a dismal 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in Charlotte and 4-10 ATS in the last 14 meetings against the Bobcats overall.

I like the Bobcats and the Under in this one with the Under going 4-1 in the last five meetings in Charlotte.

NBA Free Picks: Bobcats -1½ Points/Under 196 Total Points
