NASCAR – Best Qualifying Matchup Bets for the Lenox Industrial Tools 301
June 25, 2010
It’s time to checkout the best qualifying matchup bets in the NASCAR sportsbook for the Industrial Tools 301.
Last year, Joey Logano won after only 273 laps. NASCAR cut the race short because of rain. Logano started from the 24th position. He and the rest of the drivers on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Circuit will try to get the best position they can during qualifying on Friday.
What are the best qualifying matchup bets for the Lenox Industrial Tools 301?
NASCAR: Lenox Industrial Tools 301
Where: New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Loudon, NH
When: Qualifying – June 25th, 2010 at 3:00 pm EST
Track: Oval 1.058 Miles
TV: Qualifying – Speed Channel
Qualifying Matchups
- Kurt Busch -125 vs. Ryan Newman -105 – - Kurt started 4th and 3rd at Loudon in 2009. Ryan started 6th and 18th. Kurt also has 3 victories at Loudon. He just seems to do well on the track. I have to go with him based on how he qualified in 2009 and the fact that he’s won 2 poles this year as opposed to Ryan winning one.
Pick: Kurt Busch
- Jeff Gordon -120 vs. Jimmie Johnson -110 – - Gordo started 10th and 2nd in 2009. JJ started 3rd and 16th last year. This one could go either way. That means I’m going to make a bet on JJ because of the slight NASCAR odds difference between the two. JJ also won the Toyota/Save Mart 350 last week. He’s the hotter driver.
Pick: Jimmie Johnson
- Tony Stewart -110 vs. Kyle Busch -120 – - Strange odds in the NASCAR sportsbook regarding this matchup. Smoke has started worse than 8th only once in the past 5 races at Loudon. He started 2nd and 1st in 2009. Kyle started 9th twice in 2009. I wonder why Smoke isn’t a bigger favorite in this matchup. Oh, yes, he hasn’t had a great year, but that could change at Loudon starting with qualifying. I’m betting on him!
Pick: Tony Stewart
- Kasey Kahne -130 vs. Juan Montoya Ev – - Kahne started 13th and 11th in 2009. Juan Pablo started 12th and won a pole in 2009. Kahne is getting a lot of play, but Montoya’s got the ability to cause an upset in this matchup. I’ll go for the money and make a bet on Juan Pablo to beat Kasey during qualifying.
Pick: Juan Montoya
- Martin Truex Jr. -120 vs. Kevin Harvick -110 – - Truex Jr. started 7th and 22nd in 2009. Harvick started 11th, 25th and 12th in the last 3 races run at Loudon. This is another matchup that could go either way. Harvick’s been having a very consistent year and is the points leader in the Sprint Cup Standings. Truex Jr.? Uh…not really doing much in 2010…
Pick: Kevin Harvick
- Clint Bowyer -130 vs. Jamie McMurray Ev – - Bowyer did win a pole at one of the races at Loudon in 2008. He started 5th in one of the races in 2008. Since then, it’s been 18th, 17th and 16th place starts. Since 2005, McMurray’s best start at Loudon has been a 13th. I have to go with Bowyer in this matchup.
Pick: Clint Bowyer
