The story in Texas has been abysmal performances at the plate when playing away from home. They’re ranked just 10th in the AL when it comes to road scoring, managing just 4.1 runs per game. A sudden surge against Chicago has reinstalled the faith that had been lost after getting swept by the Twins.

The White Sox will counter with veteran right hander, Freddy Garcia. Garcia’s numbers have been decent, but when he gets the nod at the stripe, Chicago seems to play extremely well. He’s 4-3 SU over 9 starts, with Chicago going 5-4 SU in those games. On the season, Garcia has allowed 53 hits in 51.1 innings with 30 earned runs for a 5.26 season ERA.

Where To Watch: FSH, WCIU

The biggest chink in Texas’s armor has been their ability to produce runs on the road, but that hasn’t been a problem in Chicago. They’ve seemingly struck a nice groove, one which they can ride out and pelt Garcia with earning their first sweep of the White Sox in nearly a quarter-century. It’s a nice way to break a slump that has had their baseball betting fans scratching their heads.
