MLB Betting Picks – Manny Ramirez Returns To Fenway Against Sox

Taking to the mound for the L.A. Dodgers is Carlos Monasterios, a utility pitcher who has only started 6 games this season. He’s 3-1 SU as a starter with an overall season 2.98 ERA. Used as a bullpen reliever in most cases, the Dodgers are itching to see if the 24-year old Monasterios can become a regular starter in the rotation.

I can’t say that we know a whole lot about either pitcher as a starter, but Monasterios gets the early edge simply because he’s played the higher level for the majority of the season.

What will tip this game in the Dodgers’ favor, however, is the unruly crowd juicing Manny Ramirez up by booing him. The man loves attention, and even if it’s jeers, and it will motivate him to play like the same guy who belted home runs in the playoffs for the Red Sox.

Love him or hate him, Manny is still one of the best hitters in the major leagues, a fact that the Red Sox will be sorely reminded off to kick off your weekend baseball betting.
