MLB Betting – Can Padres Take Down Reds as Underdog?

Two National League squads from different divisions open an important three-game set tonight in Cincinnati as the first-place San Diego Padres take on the Reds, who are tied for fourth place in the logjam of the NL Central.

Thus far the Reds are lucky to be near .500, however, which makes it a bit surprising to see them near .500.

The MLB betting underdog Padres are the better bet according to pure stats for today, making the baseball odds for the game seem a bit off.

Home field will help the Reds on what should be a great day in Cincinnati weather-wise, but it won’t be enough as the Padres are the better team right now.
