Actually, I can.  San Jose State is a horrid, god-awful team.  They’re 1 and 4 straight up and have been outscored by Alabama, Wisconsin and Utah 131 to 20 this season.  They average only 9.8 points per game even though they’ve played against Southern Utah and UC-Davis.

They’re simply a terrible team.  Nevada, by contrast, is one of the surprising teams in college football right now.  Although the Wolf Pack are only 3 and 2 versus the lines on college football against the spread this season, they have beaten two solid football teams by wide margins when destroying the Pac 10’s California Golden Bears 52 to 31 as 2 ½ point dogs and BYU 27 to 13 as 5-point road favorites.

Nevada is a legit Top 25 team that averages 44.6 points per game and 526 yards per game.  Facing an offensively asleep team like the San Jose Spartans should lead to an easy victory.  The Spartans average less than 250 total yards per game to go along with their ridiculous less than 10 points per game average.

Oh, yes, the nail in the coffin is this.  Last season, the Wolf Pack beat San Jose State by the score of 62 to 7 as a 14-point road favorite.  Really? 

I believe that Nevada covers the incredible lines on college football for this game with ease.  I’m feeling 56 to 3.
