King James in the Palace – Cavaliers at Pistons

James, Cavaliers To Take Commanding Lead Over Pistons, Cover Spread
The Cleveland Cavaliers (68-16 SU, 52-32 ATS, 37-46-1 O/U) will look to take a commanding 3-0 lead over the Detroit Pistons (39-45 SU, 34-50 ATS, 40-42-2 O/U) when they visit their division rivals at The Palace of Auburn Hills tonight at 7 PM ET.
The Cavaliers have covered the spread in each of the first two games, including Game 2 when superstar forward LeBron James went off to the tune of 29 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists to lead the Cleveland to a solid 94-82 win on Tuesday night, covering the spread for BetOnline NBA sports betting enthusiasts as an 11-point home favorite just as I predicted in the BetOnline Locker Room that day (link to Tuesday’s Pistons@Cavaliers article).
All-star point guard Mo Williams added 21 points and seven assists for the Cavaliers while the final score played Under the 178-point in the BetOnline Sportsbook.
Veteran shooting guard Richard Hamilton scored a team-high 17 points for Detroit while young point guard Rodney Stuckey added 14 points and six assists for the Pistons.
Here is a look at tonight’s key trends, followed by my in-depth analysis and NBA Free Picks.

NBA Odds
Detroit Pistons +5 -110
Cleveland Cavaliers -5 -110
Over 178 -110
Under 178 -110
Analysis: Not only have the Cavaliers won the first two games of this series, covering the spread each time, but they have embarrassed the once mighty Pistons in the process.
The Cavaliers have actually won five consecutive games over Detroit dating back to the regular season, going an impressive 4-1 ATS during the span.
I really don’t care where these teams play these days as the Cavaliers have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are heads and shoulders above their division rivals.
I like the Cavaliers, led by their voracious defense – and LeBron James – to win and cover the spread in this contest despite being on the road.
