Kick off March Mayhem College Basketball Betting Weekend with Revealing A-10 Tournament Betting Tips
March 11, 2011
Four Atlantic-10 Tournament ballgames are on the BetOnline basketball sportsbook docket for Friday and thanks to my revealing March Madness college basketball betting tips, collegiate roundball bettors everywhere will get the inside information they’ll need in order to make the most out of their A-10 picks today as top-seeded Xavier and No. 2 seed Temple, look to take another step toward what looks like a conference finals appearance at the very least.
Dayton vs. No. 20 Xavier 12:00 PM ET
Dayton looked very good in laying a huge 78-50 smackdown on UMass on Tuesday, but the Flyers have lost three straight to the top-seeded Musketeers, including their 66-62 home loss on Feb. 27 as a 2.5-point underdog.
BetOnline college basketball betting enthusiasts should know the Favorite in this A-10 rivalry has gone 15-5 ATS in the last 20 meetings while Dayton has compiled a dismal 0-4 mark against the college hoops line in their last four neutral site games.
St. Joseph’s vs. Duquesne 2:30 PM ET
The St. Joe’s Hawks soared all over the favored GW Colonials in their A-10 opener to win 71-59 in overtime as a 7.5-point underdog.
Unfortunately, the Hawks have also lost two straight and three of the last four meetings against Duquesne while the Favorite in this series has gone 10-2-1 against the college basketball betting odds in the last 13 meetings overall.
The good news for St. Joe’s March Mayhem betting backers is the fact that the Hawks have gone 9-3-1 ATS in the last 13 meetings against the Dukes.
LaSalle vs. No. 25 Temple 6:30 PM ET
LaSalle also pulled off a big upset in the first round, beating St. Bonaventure 75-73 in overtime to cash in for March Mayhem college hoops bettors as a 4.5-point underdog. Unfortunately, the Explorers have lost four consecutive games to their Philly counterparts heading into today’s matchup. LaSalle has covered the college basketball betting line in two straight against the Owls but are just 3-5 ATS in their last eight games against Temple.
Rhode Island vs. Richmond 9:00 PM ET
Rhode Island was the only higher seed to not get upset in the first round as they beat lowly St. Louis 70-61 to cash in as a 4-point favorite and snap a two-game SU and ATS losing streak.
Richmond has won each of the last 10 meetings in this A-10 rivalry while going 3-1-1 against the college basketball betting odds in their last five meetings overall.
The good news for Rhode Island March Mayhem college basketball betting backers is the fact that the Underdog in this A-10 rivalry has gone 4-0-1 ATS in the L/5 meetings.
