February 23, 2009

The Indiana Pacers (24-34 SU, 31-25-2 ATS, 34-23-1 O/U) have won two straight games and three of four overall in the BetOnline Sportsbook, covering the spread in each victory for BetOnline NBA betting backers.

The New York Knicks (23-32 SU, 32-23 ATS, 27-28 O/U) had their modest two-game winning streak snapped the last time out but have gone an impressive 3-1 ATS in its last four overall.

NBA Odds

Indiana Pacers +6½ -110

New York Knicks -6½ -110

Over 224½ -110

Under 224½ -110

Analysis: the Knicks have covered the spread in two straight games in this series, but had lost four straight against the spread prior to those wins. While New York has won and covered the spread in two straight home contests, I like the surging Pacers to continue their playoff push with another solid outing tonight.

Even if the Knicks manage to find a way to win this matchup, I don’t see them beating Danny Granger and the Pacers by the seven points it would take for them to cover the spread.

Take the Pacers and the Under NBA online betting buffs.
