NBA Odds
Phoenix Suns (+7.5) -110
Miami Heat (-7.5) -110
Over/Under 209
Here’s a case where we just have an awful mismatch that will result in an easy NBA betting victory. The Suns are a total jump shooting team, as they really don’t have any more significant inside presences with the departure of Amare Stoudemire in the offseason. What has been proven this year is that driving to the hoop is the way to beat the Heat.
Phoenix is going to be relying on both Jason Richardson and Steve Nash to nail some outside shots, and unless someone comes up with an absolutely superhuman effort, we know that LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are just going to outshoot the Suns.
Don’t be shocked to see LeBron, D-Wade and company put up a huge number offensively in this game, and though this is a hefty spread to beat, we have faith in Miami.
SLAM THE HEAT!!!
Dallas Mavericks @ New Orleans Hornets
Game Date/Time: Wednesday, November 17th, 8:00 ET
Game Location: New Orleans Arena, New Orleans, LA
TV/Radio Broadcast: Fox Sports Southwest, Cox Sports, XM
NBA Odds
Dallas Mavericks (+4.5) -110
New Orleans Hornets (-4.5) -110
Over/Under 191
Just two days ago, these two teams met over in Dallas, where the Mavs handed the Hornets their first defeat of the season. However, the game ended in a push on the NBA betting lines, keeping New Orleans with a virtually perfect 8-0-1 ATS mark.
Chris Paul and the Hornets had a heck of a time trying to score on this Dallas team, and though they did a fine job on defense themselves, they just never really looked like a team that was really ready to pull away for the ‘W’.
From our standpoint, the second verse will differ from the first.
This is a huge game for the Mavs, as they really want to make a statement in the powerhouse Southwest Division. They can tie for the division lead with the two game sweep of New Orleans, but Chris Paul and company will make sure that doesn’t happen.
We just love what the Hornets have done this year, and with this type of defensive intensity, going on runs can really spark the crowd, which could make New Orleans Arena an incredibly tough place to play. Lay the short spread in this one with confidence, as the best ATS mark in the land continues to get better and better.
