Nuggets Look To Keep Perfect Postseason ATS Record Intact – Dallas at Denver
The Denver Nuggets (59-29 SU, 50-37-1 ATS, 44-44 O/U) will look to maintain their perfect postseason ATS record in the BetOnline Sportsbook when they host the Dallas Mavericks (54-34 SU, 44-44 ATS, 42-46 O/U) at the Pepsi Center tonight in Game 2 of their second-round playoff series at 10:30 PM ET.
The Nuggets jumped all over the Mavericks in Game 1, winning 109-95 as a 7-point home favorite on Sunday.
Underrated center Nene Hilario scored a team-high 24 points for Denver while sweet-shooting forward Carmelo Anthony added 23 points and the combined score played Under the posted over/under total (208.5).
All-star forward Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavericks with 28 points and 10 rebounds, while point guard Jason Kidd and Josh Howard each added 15 points.
Here is a look at tonight’s key trends, followed by my in-depth analysis and NBA Free Picks.
The Mavericks are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a SU loss of more than 10 points.
The Mavericks are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.

The Nuggets are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games vs. NBA Southwest.
The Under is 4-0 in Mavericks last 4 vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
The Under is 4-0 in Nuggets last 4 vs. NBA Southwest.
The Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
The Underdog is 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings.
The Mavericks are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Denver.
The Mavericks are 1-8 ATS in the last 9 meetings.
NBA Odds
Dallas Mavericks +6½ -110
Denver Nuggets -6½ -110
Over 206 -110
Under 206 -110
Analysis: I incorrectly picked the Mavericks to cover the spread in Game 1 but won’t make that mistake again particularly with the way the Nuggets are playing defense.
Veteran point guard Chauncey Billups has really changed the mindset of the Nuggets both on and off the court as they are now an apparently defensive-minded bunch that takes itself and opponents very seriously.
Simply put, I like the Nuggets, behind Billups, to win and cover the spread again in Game 2 while playing Over the 206-point O/U total.
NBA Free Picks: Nuggets -6½ Points/Over 206 Total Points
