I’m Entitled goes back to the dirt for trainer Bruce Levine after losing by 19 lengths on the turf. Boy, this horse is fast! The only issue is that he has trouble rationing his speed which means some of the pressers and closers can get to him before the finish line. He’s got a lot of ability and there’s no denying that he will get the lead, but can he hang on? Trainer Levine is 53% with his turf to dirt moves and jockey Rajiv Maragh is one of the best on the grounds. He could wire this field.

Drowning Bear – - 4/1 fair online betting odds

Drowning Bear broke his maiden at first asking but since then hasn’t done a whole lot. This is only his fourth lifetime race, though, so improvement could be expected. His trainer, Kiaran McLaughlin, is phenomenal with his stable and jockey Alan Garcia was the only American to win a race in Japan last weekend. Drowning Bear has been training very well. That makes him a serious threat. I like his chances should he take to the inner dirt course.

Miller’s Mint – - 5/1 fair online betting odds

Miller’s Mint has no chance of staying with I’m Entitled early but often time’s horses that have shown an affinity for the inner dirt course at Aqueduct become the horses to beat. Out of three lifetime races on the inner Miller’s Mint has won once and finished third once. He will find the course to his liking which means he has a shot.

Wagering Strategy

If I’m Entitled goes off at 7 to 2 or higher, then he’s worth a bet to win and place. No matter what the online odds are I’m using I’m Entitled in an exacta and trifecta box with Miller’s Mint and Drowning Bear.
