Belmont Park’s feature race on Wednesday is a New York Stallion Stakes going 7 furlongs on the turf for a purse of $100,000. That’s some nice coin for a few New York only bred stallions.

There is a huge favorite in Race 7 and although I have my doubts about beating the favorite, it does seem possible. That’s why making a horse wager Pick 3 involving Race 7 at Belmont Park might yield huge horse racing bet profits on Wednesday.

Analysis: Higher Incentive moves down in class and stretches out from 6 furlongs. She is 6 and 6 out of 17 starts over Belmont’s turf course. Double Dinghy Day will be the favorite and deservedly so after finishing 2 nd at this level and at this distance by a head in her last. Hanginonaprayer could be in perfect position for the turn to the wire. Bob’s Pinup Girl could improve off her 4 th place finish, behind Double Dinghy Day, in her last.

Race 6 (Leg 2)  

Maiden Claiming $25,000 For Maidens Three Years Old and Up  

6 furlongs on inner turf  

Horses Used: 2-Mr. Hadif, 9-Something Gold

Analysis: Yes, Mr. Hadif is 0 for 12 and Something Gold is 0 for 7, but this as a god-awful field. One of the two should finally break through with a victory in this. Something Gold simply got out finished in his last after taking the lead at the top of the stretch. Mr. Hadif couldn’t hang on at this level even though he had a ½ a length lead entering the stretch in his last. One of these two is going to win this race.

For Three Year Olds Eligible For the New York Stallion Stakes  

7 furlongs on turf  

Horses Used: 1-Seattle Mission, 3-Make A Note, 8-Franny Freud

Analysis: Seattle Mission won at first asking for trainer Barclay Tagg. If he improves at all, he could be in the mix. Make A Note has a 3-2-1 record out of 6 lifetime races. If Franney Freud doesn’t fire, then he’s the likeliest winner. Franny Freud has been awesome in his last two starts and figures to be almost impossible to beat in this situation. Still, the horse is coming off of 2 lifetime best races and could bounce some in this.
