Horse Bet of the Day – Can Enumclaw Girl Win Again in Race 7 on Friday Night at Hollywood Park?

Not often does a trainer claim a horse for $25,000 and then roughly two weeks later throw that claimer into a restricted stakes race.  Then again, not often times does a $25,000 claim produce a fantastic effort the way that Enumclaw Girl did in her last.

The daughter of Katowice is back for more on Hollywood Park’s lawn in the Culver City Stakes on Friday night.  Will she reward her backers yet again?

pp.5-Enumclaw Girl – - 3/1 fair horse betting odds

Trainer Mark Glatt reclaimed Enumclaw Girl after Doug O’Neil had claimed her from him only 2 races ago.  She actually ran very well in her last race for Glatt before O’Neil claimed her finishing 2nd at 7 ½ furlongs over the cushion by ½ a length after doing all of the running. 

She exploded for O’Neil in her last race, a 6-furlong jaunt over the turf.  If she produces that same race in this, she should win by 4 ½ lengths again.  Glatt is a good enough trainer to know where to put them to ensure success.  Unless Enumclaw Girl bounces for some reason, she should looking stunning turning for home in Race 7 at Hollywood Park on Friday night.

pp.3 Minute Limit – - 7/2 fair horse betting odds

Minute Limit closed bravely into a 46 and 2 pace in her last race but came up short by 1¼ lengths to multiple winning Unzip Me.  Still, it was a great run for the 3-time winner.  If the pace is sharp, and it could be if Enumclaw Girl goes after Bonifacio early, then Minute Limit should be right there at the end.   
pp.4 Porto Marmay – - 4/1 fair horse betting odds

Porto Marmay finished in 3rd behind Minute Limit in her last, the Great Lady M Stakes.  She could improve big time in this as the Great Lady M Stakes was her first race off of a short lay off.  If Porto Marmay, like Minute Limit, gets the right pace set-up, then she can win this at what figures to be square odds.

Horse Wagering Strategy

Enumclaw Girl should be able to track Bonifacio and then take over at the top of the stretch.  She looks like a winner in this spot.  I will bet Enumclaw Girl to win.  I will bet an exacta keying Enumclaw Girl over Porto Marmay and Minute Limit.  I will reverse for less. 

I will bet a trifecta with Enumclaw Girl over Porto Marmay, Minute Limit, Bonifacio over ALL.  I will bet another trifecta with Porto Marmay, Minute Limit, Bonifacio over Enumclaw Girl over ALL.
