Charlotte has really yet to get into the swing of things this year, as it is just 1-5 SU and 2-4 ATS. However, it was a significantly better home team last year than it was a road team, and it has only had two home games under its belt thus far in 2010.

You can bet that the Spurs are going to be ready for this fight, but at some point, things are going to regulate themselves. The Spurs aren’t going to win all of their road games.

The Bobcats aren’t going to lose all of their home games. We love making NBA picks against teams when they’re playing on the opposite coast, particularly for the first time.

Denver Nuggets @ Chicago Bulls

We made some great NBA picks with the Bulls in our TNT Two-Fer on Thursday of last week, and since that point, the Bulls have been at home and resting up for this one.

The Nuggs are starting to really push the tempo of games again, as they have now had four straight with at least 101 on the board. The equation here is simple: When Denver scores 103 or more points in a game, it is 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS.

When it doesn’t, it is 0-2 SU and 0-2 ATS. The Bulls have had some major defensive problems, but Tom Thibodeau isn’t going to put up with it any longer.

Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic

The Magic have been absolutely dominating in their new home this year, and we don’t see any reason to stop making NBA picks on them in this spot. Orlando has been resting at home waiting for this one, while Atlanta was involving in a grueling game last night against the Phoenix Suns.

Add to the fact that the Magic have really dominated this series in the past, going 10-1 ATS in the L/11 meetings, and the choice is particularly simple.
