The Minnesota Vikings are a mess. Brad Childress has lost control of the locker room. He traded for and then released Randy Moss. He almost came to blows with his top receiver, Percy Harvin and it’s highly doubtful that the Brett Favre has run one of his plays all year.

Free Betting Tips – The Vikings are 1-5 ATS in their past six games as a home underdog.

The Vikings are not officially out of the playoffs but unless all of the above problems get fixed and the team wins every game remaining on the schedule, it’s all but a certainty game sixteen will be their last and the last of Brett Favre’s career.

As for Brett Favre, he’s had one great game this season. Against the Arizona Cardinals he threw for 446 yards and engeneered a fourth quarter comeback. As for the rest of the games he’s been average or worse. He’s thrown 16 interceptions, including nine in the last four games. He’s only thrown 10 TD passes in 10 games and three came in a single game against the Jets.

Free Betting Tips – The Vikings are 0-4 ATS against a team with a winning record.

One bright spot has been the play of Adrian Peterson. Peterson is second in the NFL with 908 rushing yards and tied for fourth with seven TDs. He’s cured his fumbling woes of past seasons, he’s yet to fumble a ball this season.

The Packers suffered an insane amount of injuries this season, they have six started on injured reserve. Still they’ve still put together a solid season. They are coming off a bye week, which should give any lingering injuries time to heal.

Free Betting Tips – The Packers are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 games against a losing team.

The Packers defense has been a wall this year. They are holding opponents to just 15.9 points per game, which is tops in the NFL.

Linebacker Clay Matthews has been a beast, he leads the league in sacks with 10½. The Packers are tied for second in sacks(28), interceptions (14) and defensive touchdowns (4) on the season.

Free Betting Tips – The Packers are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games following an ATS win.

The Packers defense will be the difference, the pass rush will force Favre to make some bad passes and throw some interceptions. Favre’s last game against the Packers won’t be pretty, unless you’re a Packers fan.

NFL Betting Pick: Green Bay Packers -3
