Furious MLB Betting Picks – Tampa Bay to Show Baltimore They Don’t Belong

The Baltimore Orioles started off the season with a rousing beginning in MLB betting picks, then leveled off with a losing streak that was much more what we expected from them. Now they’re winning some games and losing more, which is exactly where we expected them to be. Even though Baltimore is still hanging tough with the regular contenders in the AL East, Tampa Bay’s James Shields is too reliable to bet against tonight.

List most people that ride starting pitchers in MLB betting picks, I typically don’t mess around when James Shields is pitching and I try to earmark games when he’s on the road because they have better value. Shields is 2-1 SU with a 2.19 ERA in six starts this season, and the Rays are 5-1 SU in those games as well which bodes well for Tampa Bay.

Countering for Baltimore will Britton, a sturdy lefty that has an incredible 5-1 SU record with a 2.63 ERA and he’s a big reason that the Orioles are in the thick of the AL East race (that got off to an awfully early start). The issue here isn’t Britton, because I have faith in him but I don’t like the idea of him taking on a Rays team has found its rhythm.

Where to Watch: SUN, MASN

Tampa is a strong 5-0 SU in their last 5 road games and are also 7-3 SU in their last 10 games when playing in Baltimore’s historic Camden Yards. Baltimore’s recent play is more indicative of how they are in general, but their 2-4 SU record over the past 6 games has me worried. Britton is worth backing in MLB betting picks, but Shields has been steadier in years past so take the road team moneyline for an even profit.
