While Toronto is in the upswing of an obvious rebuilding phase that is starting to show some reasonable results, the Yankees continue to be stubborn about their roster. The Yankees are pulling a strong series win over Texas behind them, going 2-1 SU while outscoring the defending AL Pennant winners 14-12.

That’s far better than what Toronto managed to scrounge together in going 1-3 SU against Boston, while being outscored 10-27. That being said, Toronto’s fans will get to Burnett early as they always do and the Jays themselves will enjoy being back in the saddle of home field.
