Friday Night Lights: Pittsburgh at Louisville
October 1, 2009
The six point favorite Pittsburgh Panthers visit the Louisville Cardinals this Friday at 8:05 at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium in college football action.
The Panthers will rely on QB Bill Stull to win this one. He has 8 TDs and just one interception in four games played so far.
Despite the loss last week against North Carolina, Stull threw for 206 yards and 2 TD. RB Dion Lewis looked impressive too, he ran for 95 yards with a couple of touchdowns. Before that, Pittsburgh had beaten Navy and Buffalo.
The Cardinals however haven’t looked that good this season; they are 1-2 so far and their QB Justin Burke has 3 TD with 4 picks and he doesn’t seem the type of quarterback that you want to rely on.
To me is not going to be even close, the Panthers will roll over Louisville and Bill Skull will have a touchdown treat this Friday.
College Football odds:
Pittsburgh Panthers -6 ½ -110
Louisville Cardinals +6 ½ -110
My pick: Panthers in a blowout.
