Friday Night Lights in Lingerie

The Superbowl halftime gimmick, the Lingere Bowl, has taken on…insert any double entendre of your choosing.
That’s right folks: The Lingerie Football League (LFL) – with women playing full-contact football in helmets, sports bras and panties – is coming to your TV sets this fall. According to the league’s site, it’s “the real fantasy football”.
Games will be played Friday nights. There are 10 teams in total. The field is 50 yards long and two 15 minute quarters will be played. The season lasts 4 games.
The teams are:
- Chicago Bliss
- Miami Caliente
- NY Majesty
- Philadelphia Passion
- Tampa Breeze
- Dalls Desire
- Denver Dream
- Los Angeles Temptation
- San Diego Seduction
- Seattle Mist
The inaugural game is on Sept 4th 2009. between Miami Caliente and the Chicago Bliss and will be played at the Sears Center Areana in Chi Town.
