Friday Night College Football Betting – Boise St vs Idaho
November 12, 2010
The College Football Betting game of the day for Friday is without a doubt the 4th ranked Boise State Broncos taking on fellow Western Athletic Conference combatant, the Idaho Vandals. No offence to Ball State and Buffalo, the only other game Friday, but any time you get to see the Broncos at work, you should watch.
Their only problem is that after a quarter they’ve usually put the game out of reach, and that figures to be the case again this Friday as they are 34 ½ point favourites. Not only that, but a huge majority of the College Football Betting public is backing them, 94% huge.

Boise State Broncos (8-0) vs. Idaho Vandals (4-5) (Kibble Dome – Moscow, ID)
Friday November 12th – 9 PM ET
TV: ESPN2
It’s a shame that no matter what Boise State does this year, the only way they will ascend to number one in the country is if the teams ahead of them lose a game. They could beat everyone by a million points, which they practically do, but because they play in the WAC they just don’t get the respect. I understand the thinking behind it, and they will play in BCS bowl game, but the fact that they likely won’t get to play for a national championship just seems wrong. But that’s neither here nor there, sometimes I just like to vent my frustration on behalf of the little guy.
College Football Betting Spread:
Boise State Broncos -34 ½
Idaho Vandals
Total – 63 ½
Getting back to the matter at hand, the Broncos are on a 22-game winning streak, their last College Football Betting win coming in typically impressive fashion as they flexed their muscle against Hawaii. I thought the Warriors were going to be able to at least keep it reasonable, but once again the Broncos were far too much as they took them out 42-7. That’s not good news for Idaho as they took on nationally ranked Nevada last week and barely put up a fight, losing 63-17.
Kellen Moore was once again extremely impressive, having his best day of his colligate career throwing the ball. On the day he was 30 of 37 for a ridiculous 507 yards and three touchdowns, making him the all time leader in passing touchdowns at Boise State.
Their defence was equally impressive as Hawaii came in with a high flying offence that boasted the leading passer in the league in Bryant Moniz, and all the Broncos did was lay him on his ass. They sacked Moniz seven times and just never gave him anything downfield when he did have time. They allowed more running yards than they would have liked, but overall it was a complete destruction of a very solid football team.
That’s all we can expect again this week as Idaho just doesn’t have anything that can hurt Boise, and the Broncos have too many weapons to count that can hurt the Vandals. Don’t let the College Football Betting spread intimidate you, the Broncos are going to blow Idaho out by at least 40.
College Football Betting Pick: Boise State (-34 ½)
