Free Betting Tips – Put Money on the Saints to Cover the Spread
October 10, 2010
The New Orleans Saints, 3 and 1 straight up and a horrible 1 and 3 ATS so far this season to cover the spread, provides one of my best free sports betting tips of the weekend.
I just returned from Phoenix, AZ, and let me tell you, they are scrambling to figure out what’s wrong with the Arizona Cardinals. I will tell you what’s wrong with them. They need to forget about running the offense that they ran when Kurt Warner was under center, give the ball to RB Beanie Wells and RB Tim Hightower about 50 times a game, and then throw to WR Larry Fitzgerald on slants and crossing routes.

What about the Cardinals’ D? Oh, yeah. Well, maybe, the Cardinals don’t have to play defense on Sunday. Maybe, they can just give the Saints’ 7 points every time they kick them the ball. Then, Arizona can try and go for the 2-point conversion each time they score a TD.
Are you beginning to realize why the New Orleans Saints to covers the spread is one of my best free betting tips of the weekend?

The betting trends favor neither team in this game.
- The New Orleans Saints are 5 and 1 ATS in the last 6 meetings between these two teams.
- The New Orleans Saints are 1 and 4 ATS in their last 5 games on the road.
- The Arizona Cardinals are 4 and 0 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog at home.
- The Arizona Cardinals are 1 and 4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
Backing the Saints to cover the spread ATS qualifies as one of my best free betting tips because the horrible Arizona Cardinals are doing something, yet again, that won’t help them win on Sunday.
The Cards never should have cut QB Matt Leinart in favor of QB Derek Anderson. You’d have to be a football nincompoop, which I suppose AZ coach Ken Wisenhunt is, not to see that Anderson takes too many chances with the football. Oh, well. Anderson was completing only 52% of his passes and had thrown 5 picks as opposed to 3 touchdowns this season before being benched in favor of rookie Max Hall.
Say what? Yeah, that’s the second dumb thing Wisenhunt has done in regards to the QB position. He’s starting a 25-year-old QB with a 45.1 quarterback rating that has thrown only 85 yards in his professional career against the defending Super Bowl champions.
How crazy stupid is that?
Hey, maybe, just maybe, I’m going to look like an idiot, but somehow…yeah, I don’t think so. Wisenhunt has run the Cardinals into the ground this season by mismanaging the QB position. It wouldn’t be so bad if the Cards could stop a team from running and passing all over them once in a while.
Arizona’s D allows close to 30 points per game. That’s what they allow. They also allow over 230 passing yards and over 150 rushing yards per game. Play every Saint you’ve got this week on your fantasy team because they should all score against ‘Zona’s D!
The Saints have their issues, in fact I picked against them last Sunday, but they shouldn’t have any issues this Sunday versus the horrid Arizona Cardinals. I just don’t see how QB Max Hall is going to make a difference for ‘Zona’s offense and the Cards’ D is one of the worst, if not the worst, in the NFL.
Backing the New Orleans Saints in the sportsbook to cover the spread is one of my best free betting tips for this weekend.
