Free Betting Tips – Will Aaron Rodgers Make A Difference Against New England?
December 18, 2010
While the Green Bay Packers need Aaron Rodgers on Sunday night, Free Betting Tips suggest that his presence would not be enough to slow down the incredible offense and the emerging defense of the New England Patriots. The Packers need to win in order to stay in the playoff picture. Unfortunately for them, the Patriots at Foxboro are as good as it gets.

The Green Bay Packers were overwhelming Free Betting Tips to win the NFC North and were a sexy pick to represent the NFC at the Super Bowl this year. Unfortunately for them, they have lost two of their last three games and have faded down the NFC North and NFC Wildcard picture.

Green Bay’s decline is somewhat inexplicable. Their passing game is still 7th ranked but their running game has really missed Ryan Grant. The rushing offense has generated just 98.77 yards per game this season, good for 25th in the NFL.
The Packers defense has also been good. They are 3rd against the pass (196.77 yards per game) but are a disappointing 19th against the run (117.31 yards per game). They are the best unit in points allowed however, allowing just 14.54 points per game this season. With, or without Aaron Rodgers, the Packers defense will be the difference in the game.
It doesn’t take a genius to dole out Free Betting Tips on the New England Patriots. They are simply the team to beat in the NFL right now! They have won six straight games and have scored at least 30 points in each of those games, beating the likes of the Steelers, the Colts, the Jets and the Bears along the way. Execution on both sides of the ball has propelled the Pats to a consensus #1 ranking on every Power Poll in the land.
For the New England offense, it has been No Moss, No Problem! Tom Brady and the passing game is 8th ranked, gaining just over 250 yards per game. Tom Brady has thrown 15 touchdown and zero interceptions in his last five games. Heck, Deion Branch looks like a Pro Bowler in this offense!
The Patriots have found themselves a running game somewhere along the line. Injuries to Fred Taylor and Kevin Faulk may have been the best thing that has happened to the Pats this season. They are still 15th ranked (112.46 yards per game) but BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Danny Woodhead have given an unfamiliar confidence in the running game.
New England`s defense has been OK this season but have been vulnerable versus the pass. They are 31st against the pass (266.15 yards per game) and 14th versus the run (108.92 yards per game). The Pats have gotten better, thanks largely to players like Devin McCourty.
Free Betting Tips Outlook:
The Green Bay Packers are 5-2 SU in their last seven games but are just 2-4 SU and ATS in their last six road games. The Packers are 4-2 SU and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games against the New England Patriots.
The New England Patriots are 5-0 SU overall and 5-0 SU in their last five at home. They are 2-4 SU and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games against Green Bay and are 8-4-1 ATS this season.
With or without Aaron Rodgers, this game should be all Patriots. After all, they have won 15 straight games at home and Tom Brady has won his last 26 home starts. With the Packers being dinged on both sides of the ball, they don`t stand a chance in this one. I hope that Rodgers plays. It would be nice to see a competitive game but if he doesn`t, bet your house and maybe your parents house on the Pats, no matter the spread!
Free Betting Tips Pick: New England Patriots, no matter the Spread!
