Football Teaser Picks – Week 9 Bets to Hit

Let’s get into a 7-point teaser for Week 9 of the NFL. With any 7 point football teaser pick, we will take three great games to wager on, and tease the point spread in our favor. Like a parlay, all three games need to payout – but unlike a parlay, the ease of hitting our picks becomes much easier.

Week 9 NFL Odds

Chicago Bears (-3) over Buffalo Bills (in Toronto, Canada)

While the Bears season hasn’t been great, they are certainly better than the Bills on a neutral field. Watch for Matt Forte to catch numerous passes out of the backfield en route to dominating the Bills and leaving them winless on the season.

As long as Jay Cutler’s mistakes are minimized (realistic against a poor Buffalo defense) this should be an easy win and a tough game to watch.

Houston Texans (+3) over San Diego Chargers (in Houston)

The Chargers have been making mistakes at all the wrong times this season and Houston has been solid at home. Any time a home dog has a legitimate shot at SU beating the visiting team, it’s a great bet to insert into a teaser.

The Texans will run the ball with Arian Foster heavily in the first half, opening up play action and the deep threat to Andre Johnson. San Diego will certainly score against Houston, but it won’t be enough as the Chargers disappointing season will continue.

New England Patriots (-4) over Cleveland Browns (in Cleveland)

Bill Belichick and the Patriots are one of the best teams in the league at this point of the season. They’ve been dominant against the spread and I’m sure the rivalry between the Patriots and Eric Mangini could bleed over into this game.

The Patriots will score often against the Browns, and Colt McCoy won’t be able to keep up with the pace. New England’s ball security will win the take-away battle – leaving Cleveland’s offense to do the bulk of the work.

While I like all of these teams to beat the standard spread, padding their total by a touchdown is an excellent wager for Sunday. Let’s take a look at the new lines for your teaser:
