While LSU is still perfect on the season, they are only 2-3 against the spread and the blame for failing to meet bettor’s expectations falls squarely on the offenses shoulders. The team is scoring just 24.4 points a game, which ranks them 83rd in the nation.

The Tigers run the ball well with Steven Ridley leading the way. Ridley has 557 yards and four touchdowns this season. Backup RB Russell Shepard (152) and quarterback Jordan Jefferson (189) have combined for 341 rushing yards for LSU.

Jefferson is better off running the ball as he’s only completing 51.7% of his passes for 449 yards and two touchdowns. He’s thrown six interceptions in five games.

The defense ranks 6th against the run and total offensive yards given up, 22nd against the pass and are the hold opponents to a fifth best 12.4 points a game.

The Gators offense hasn’t missed a beat with the loss of Tim Tebow to the NFL. Other than the loss to Alabama, Florida has averaged 39.5 points in their other four games.

The line drop is due to leading rusher Jeff Demps (foot) and quarterback John Brantley (ribs) both being banged up but they will play on Saturday.

Demps has 414 rushing yards and a couple of touchdowns this season. He makes way for Trey Burton around the end zone. Burton leads the team with eight touchdowns.

The football sportsbook trends point to good things for the Gators, as they are 9-2 ATS in 11 games following an ATS loss and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games against teams with a winning record.

LSU has been escaped with some wins this season but their luck will run out against the Gators. Take advantage of the line drop and take the football sportsbook’s pointspread of the Gators -7 points.

NCAAF Betting Picks: Florida Gators -6
