Football Parlays – Parlaying The Action In Week 13

December 5, 2010

Football is the parlay sport so before you start laying down your singles for Sunday, here’s a preview of our football parlays plays for this week:

Denver Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs

The Denver Broncos hammered the Kansas City Chiefs a few weeks ago and Chiefs head coach Todd Haley was not pleased about it. He felt the Broncos ran up the score and decided not to shake Josh McDaniels hand after the game.

Now the tables have turned and this contest will be played at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs don’t have the same type of offense to light up the Broncos but they’ll beat them down in a different way. They’ll run the ball non-stop until the Broncos can’t take anymore, and comfortably win.

Football Parlays Picks: Chiefs -9.5

Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came close to defeating the Atlanta Falcons just a few weeks ago at the Georgia Dome and now they’ll have another shot at home.

The Bucs were stuffed on a fourth-and-inches just outside the Falcons goal line late in the fourth quarter, which could have given them the lead. Instead, they are faced with a must-win this week if they hope to make the playoffs.

If the Bucs win, they can climb within one game of first in the NFC South and get to 8-4, which should put them in good position to make the playoffs. But a loss drops them to 7-5 and hinders their chances all around.

Look for them to play like this is their Super Bowl this week as this game is urgent for them.

Football Parlays Picks: Buccaneers +3

Oakland Raiders @ San Diego Chargers

Tom Cable may have wanted to go with Bruce Gradkowski instead of Jason Campbell, but now he has no choice. The Raiders will go with the hot hand – or the guy who led them to three straight victories earlier this year – as Campbell will try and upset the Chargers for a second time this season.

Don’t expect that to happen.

The Chargers imploded in a trip to Oakland earlier this year with two blocked punts and several other self-inflicted wounds. Now the Chargers are rolling and should keep it going with a lopsided win.

Football Parlays Picks: Chargers -13.5

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens

This is a mathup of two even teams that see each other twice a year, so you have to wonder just how much of a factor home field advantage will have.

The Baltimore Ravens won the first meeting between the teams and clearly, they’d love the series sweep this year but there is one keep main difference from their first win: Ben Roethlisberger.

He was suspended for the first contest but he is back now and ready to roll. He is an x-factor and in an even matchup like this, a player like that could be the difference.

Take the Steelers plus the points in this contest.

Football Parlays Picks: Steelers +3
