Football Betting – Chiefs vs Seahawks

Can anyone in the Football Betting world figure out the Seattle Seahawks, because I sure as hell can’t up to this point in the season. How’s this for their first five games: Win over San Francisco 31-6, Loss at Denver 31-14, Win over San Diego 27-20, Loss at St. Louis 20-3, Win at Chicago 23-20. Since then they beat the Cardinals, got killed by the Raiders and Giants, beat the Cardinals again and then lost to the Saints by 15. The only thing I can gather from this is that they are a pretty good Football Betting team at home, and not very good on the road, but that still doesn’t make me believe in them.

The Chiefs have been doing the good/bad dance of late as well as it was just two weeks ago when the Broncos lit them up 49-29, but they followed that up with a Football Betting win over the lowly Cardinals in Week 11. Heading to Seattle, they’re going to need to find a way to win a road game as the last time they won away from Arrowhead Stadium was way back in Week 2 over the Cleveland Browns. Since then they’ve dropped games in Indianapolis, Houston, Oakland and the aforementioned Broncos game, so the fact they are Football Betting favourites over the Seahawks must mean that they’re due.

The majority of the betting public getting in on this game seems to think that the Chiefs are going to cover the 2-point spread and thus earn a much needed road win. The guy that is going to make the difference is Matt Cassel as the KC QB has been on fire lately, with Dwayne Bowe being the recipient of his solid play. In the last seven games he’s tossed 14 touchdowns compared to only one interception, and that’s much better than Matt Hasselbeck’s numbers of late.

The other guys that are going to be instrumental in getting the Chiefs the Football Betting win are Jamall Charles and Thomas Jones as the two headed running monster needs to rack up some yards on a defence that is giving up 147.3 rushing yards per game. The Seahawks haven’t been running the ball all that well of late and this is an area where KC can really dominate the game, which I think they will.

The Chiefs are just the better all around Football Betting team, and that’s the reason I’m taking them to cover the spread in Seattle.
