Their successful run at this year’s Confederations Cup gives hope not only to South Africa but also to all other African nations to do well at the World Cup 2010, possibly even go the distance – which would be a first in the history of the tournament. South Africa have shown their quality and potential by reaching the semis. But they still have room for improvement.
