New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks
Game Date/Time: Saturday, January 8th, 4:30 ET
Game Location: Qwest Field, Seattle, WA
TV/Radio Broadcast: NBC, Sirius
NFL Odds
New Orleans Saints (-10) -110
Seattle Seahawks (+10) -110
Over/Under 44
We know that the Seahawks are outclassed in this game, and so do they. News broke today the Matt Hasselbeck should be in the starting lineup for this one, but is he really going to be able to threaten the New Orleans defense with a gimpy hip? Maybe if this were five years ago, we would be a little more concerned, but in this one, we have no such threats. Seattle’s offense isn’t well rounded enough to be stepping up and scoring at least 24-28 points or so to have a shot at beating the defending champs.

Why is that number crucial? The Seahawks allowed over 32 points per game against teams with records of .500 or better this year. Yikes! We know that this is a hefty spread to be laying, but we have no doubt that our exotic NFL parlays wouldn’t be complete with the very easy win New Orleans is destined to put up at Qwest Field.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Game Date/Time: Sunday, January 9th, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Sirius
NFL Odds
Baltimore Ravens (-3) -105
Kansas City Chiefs (+3) -105
Over/Under 41
The good news for the Chiefs is that they are going to be in a position where they are hosting a playoff game at Arrowhead Stadium. The bad news is that their stay in the playoffs just isn’t going to be a long one.
Look at this horrendous schedule that KC played this year. The only team that was even at .500 that was beaten was the San Diego Chargers, and that was way back in Week 1. The only playoff team beaten was the Seattle Seahawks, who are largely accepted as the one team that has absolutely zero chance to win the Lombardi Trophy this year.
Baltimore has been there and done that. It has wins on the road against some of the best teams that the NFL has seen, and it would be a complete travesty to leave it out of our exotic NFL parlays. The combination of a stout defense parlayed with an offense that has added a huge weapon this year in Anquan Boldin is just going to be too much for the Chiefs to tame. Don’t be shocked if this one gets ugly in a hurry come Wild Card Weekend.
