November 6, 2010
The Cowboys have their backs against the wall and most of the football odds betting fans out there don’t think they have what it takes to make it back to the playoff chase.
But the Cowboys still have a ton of talent as most fans know, and the Packers are aware that they might get Dallas’ best shot this weekend at Lambeau Field.
Will it be enough, and will Dallas have what it takes to score a big upset win on the road?

NFL odds: Green Bay favored at -7 ½
The Packers’ defense doesn’t get the same accolades as the offense but it is a stellar unit led by the guy some people think is the first half defensive MVP of the league, Clay Matthews.
He has been a sack machine and Jon Kitna does not play will under pressure.
The football odds in this one are high in large part because of Kitna, and while he had bad week last time around he isn’t totally at fault.
Kitna had several balls go off of receivers’ last week that could have been completions but ended up as drops or interceptions.
The sledding be tougher for the NFL odds underdogs in this one against Charles Woodson, Nick Collins and company in Lambeau, but the Cowboys have tons of great receiving targets who can get open especially considering the emergence of Dez Bryant as a threat.
The Pack are due for a good offensive performance after being stymied by the wind in New York last week and only scoring 9, however.
At 5-3, Green Bay has the lead in the NFC North but it’s far from safe. They will be motivated to win this one in a big way in primetime.
But the Packers are 1-4 against the spread in their last 5 as a favorite going into this one and Dallas still has the weapons to make this game close even against a big-play Green Bay defense.
Football Odds pick: Dallas Cowboys (-7 ½).
