Arian Foster for president!
Led by the unheralded running back’s jaw-dropping 231 yards and three touchdowns on 33 carries, the Texans jumped all over the Indianapolis Colts in their 34-24 win on Sunday.
The Texans got just 107 passing yards from quarterback Matt Schaub, but still managed to cover the NFL prediction lines as a 1-point home underdog while the game’s final score played Over the 47.5-point O/U total.
Washington 411

Analysis: Beofre the regular season started, I don’t think there was one NFL fan or betting enthusiasts looking forward to this game nearly as much as they are after both of these teams laid the smackdown on their unsuspecting opponents last week.
Having said that, I really think the best wager for this matchup is to play the Over first and foremost, followed by a pick for the Houston Texans to win this game outright and narrowly cover the NFL betting lines as a 3-point road favorite.
I really like the Texans’ 5-2-2 ATS mark against a team with a winning record in its last nine games and 3-1-1 ATS mark in their last six games following a win and believe the Redskins are going to come up just short as they try to find a way to slow the now, three-headed Texans attack that revolves around Foster, Schaub – and the game’s best wide receiver, Andre Johnson.
I know the Redskins have a top 10 defense that shut down the explosive Dallas Cowboys last week, but I don’t think their defense will be able to man-handle Houston’s offensive line the same way they overpowered the Dallas’ last week.
In addition to that, I believe the Redskins don’t have the playmakers just yet to keep up with the Texans offense and will fail to cover the spread in a heart-breaking loss.
