College Game Day Saturday – Georgia Bulldogs vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys

Mike Gundy Ready To Prove His Team’s Worth Against Georgia
Mike Gundy is unfortunately more famous for his “I’m a man! I’m 40!” speech, and is less known for his team’s record. However, the Associated Press has spoken and slipped Oklahoma State in to the top-10 as the ninth best team in the nation. Much has to do with Gundy entering the culmination of his best recruiting years, and his 16-9 SU record over the past two NCAAF betting seasons gives voice for some serious optimism this year.
The Cowboys ended a strong season last year by blowing a lead in the Holiday Bowl against Oregon, losing 42-31. Now Gundy’s quarterback, Zac Robinson will lead one of the more powerful college offenses in the league. Putting games in the hands of the defense is not going to be an option. Robinson threw for 1,626 yards and 16 touchdowns. As a favorite against Georgia, can the maturity and chemistry of a solidified Cowboys team derail the Bulldogs from getting out of the kennel in the opener?
Georgia Bulldogs vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys
Saturday, September 5 th — Boone Pickens Stadium, Stillwater — 3:30pm EST
College Football Betting Line: Oklahoma State -5 (60.5)
Georgia, which was supposed to be one of the more competitive teams last season, lost the two main cogs of its offense as Matthew Stafford was drafted first overall by the Detroit Lions, and Knowshon Moreno went 12 th overall to the Denver Broncos. To say that the Bulldogs and head coach Mark Richt are facing an uphill battle is an understatement.
Fifth-year senior Joe Cox is being handed the keys to the Cadillac for Georgia, and the fact that he’s ridden the pine for much of his college career should say all you need to know about this game. On the road, against a feverish Oklahoma State crowd, Cox’s inexperience will prove to be the x-factor in this game. Don’t be caught betting on the side of the Bulldogs until we know about this unproven offense.
Furious Free Pick: Oklahoma State -5 (OVER)
