It’s funny when I see reports that the Zips are playing another tough opponent. The Golden Flashers were not a tough opponent last week, and the Ohio Bobcastaways aren’t this week either.

I remember Frank Solich used to be the head coach for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. I hated him then while he was driving that program into the ground. I’ll have to quote the famous Foghorn Leghorn (think cartoon Rooster) on this one. “That Boy’s about as Sharp as a Bowling Ball.”

OK, I’ve got some real College Football Picks for you involving the actual game. I would definitely take the Akron Zips +16 ½ points against this “coach”.

This is one occasion where I am going to recommend at least a small wager on a longshot. For College Football Picks, I don’t get much more speculative than this, but throw something on the Akron Zips Moneyline at +600. Seriously, Solich is so NOT gonna win.
