College Football Game Day: Texas A&M to Upset OSU?

October 9, 2009

The 5 point favorite Oklahoma State Cowboys visit the Texans A&M Aggies this Saturday at 12:30 PM ET at Kyle Field.

College Football odds:

Oklahoma State Cowboys -5
Texans A&M Aggies +5

Both teams are 3-1 so far this season but arrived to this matchup with very different mindsets.

Oklahoma destroyed Grambling State last week 56-6 to cap off a two game winning streak.

Texas lost 47 -19 to Arkansas last week, it was their first loss of the season.

Texans A&M Aggies QB Jerrod Johnson has been exceptional, throwing 11 TDs and with no picks this year. Texas has the 5 th ranked passing offense in the nation and the second one in total yards; however their running game hasn’t been that effective.

On the other side Oklahoma QB Zac Robinson has 6 TDs and 2 picks so far. Not outstanding but good enough to run the offense at OSU. The only problem for Robinson maybe that his top target, Dez Bryant, has been ruled ineligible for his offseason workout with former NFL defensive back Deion Sanders that Bryant never informed the NCAA about.

All college football betting fans keep in mind Texas A&M has lost 12 of 15 at home against ranked opponents. But remember also Oklahoma State is 2-8 in its last 10 Big 12 road openers.

Despite the Aggies loss last week expect them to upset the Cowboys this weekend.

My pick: Upset by the Aggies
