College Football Betting – Under Power Poll through Week 10

November 12, 2010

Here at BetOnline Sportsbook, we’ve always got our eyes on any NCAA football trends that we can use to help make you money. BYU is our top college football betting team for ‘Unders’ so far this year.

1: BYU Cougars (7-2) (LW: 1) – The hot ‘under’ marks are finally gone for BYU after the offense woke up and put a hurting on the Runnin’ Rebels last week.

2: Miami Redhawks (7-2) (LW: 3) – The Redhawks are movin’ on up in the college football betting ‘under’ poll even though they were off last week.

3: LSU Tigers (7-2) (LW: 5) – It took some defense, it took some gambling, and it took some luck, but the Tigers did their job to beat the Tide and successfully keep the affair ‘under’ the closing number.

4: Clemson Tigers (7-2) (LW: NR) – It’s awfully hard to imagine that Clemson has the best defense in the ACC at just 158 points allowed. That ‘D’ is going to have to shine brightly to keep Florida State from pushing this Saturday night’s college football betting battle past the total.

5: Florida Atlantic Owls (6-2) (LW: NR) – A defense that has only surrendered 195 points this season is tops in the Sun Belt, something that we never thought we’d see out of FAU this year.

6: Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders (6-2) (LW: 4) – The Blue Raiders know that they have played a fairly difficult schedule this season, but down the stretch, their defense may get a chance to flex its muscles knowing that four of the worst teams from a bad conference are sitting there waiting to be had by a team that has had a frustrating campaign.

7: Iowa State Cyclones (7-3) (LW: 2) – The Cyclones looked well on their way to another ‘under’ game, but coming back from down by 14 in the fourth against Big Red was an impressive feat that cost them some spots in this week’s poll.

8: Temple Owls (7-3) (LW: NR) – Very few in the country probably realize this, but the Owls have only allowed a grand total of ten points in their last three games combined. This could legitimately be one of the best defenses in the land, especially in the offense happy MAC.

9: Air Force Falcons (7-3) (LW: NR) – The Falcons had a bit of a week off last week against the Army offense, but their body of work still shows that they are more than deserving of being on this college football betting list.

10: Notre Dame Fighting Irish (6-3) (LW: 9) – Is it time for Nate Montana to try leading the offense for the Golden Domers? The experimentation for Brian Kelly during these last three games of the season should be interesting to say the least; especially for college football betting fans.
