College Basketball Odds – Ohio State Favorite to Win it All

It’s definitely too early to say who will win it all, but alleged “experts” on College Basketball Odds are looking past Wisconsin in NCAA Tournament glory predictions.

The Badgers may have taken out the Buckeyes at home to make a statement, but this Wisconsin team is much different when they get away from their cozy nest. Ohio State is looking to return the bitter taste of defeat to their Big 10 buddies.

#10 Wisconsin Badgers (23-6) (14-10 ATS) at #1 Ohio State Buckeyes (28-2) (14-13 ATS)
Sunday, March 6 at 4:00 ET
Jerome Schottenstein Center (19,200) – Columbus, Ohio

College Basketball Odds Overview:

The Buckeyes are looking for big time revenge here. Ohio State has clinched a piece of the Big Ten Championship already, but they want the whole damn Big 10 Cherry Pie. They can have it with a victory over the Badgers this Sunday.

You better not forget about the other freshman F Deshaun Thomas on Ohio State. He is doing a bang-up job coming off the bench, sometimes to relieve Sullinger. He has three 20 plus games this year. And people say the Buckeyes don’t have a bench.

I can’t write the whole article about Jared Sullinger, but I damn well could. He’s great and could play in the NBA right now. OK, that’s it.

The defense for the Buckeyes is ranked 9th in the nation allowing only 59.6 points per game, and they have an offensive output ranked in the top 20 averaging 77.4 points a game.

That’s a pretty lethal combination to try and defeat no matter what the College Basketball Odds are.

Wisconsin beats Ohio State on the defensive end. They are second in the entire nation giving up 2 points less than the Buckeyes defense does.

Wisconsin has a ferocious defense that refuses to give away easy points. They just don’t quite have the offensive firepower to get through March unscathed much less here in a rematch away from their home court.

The Badgers are a perfect 16-0 when they have all their hometown homeys behind them. They also shoot 49.2% at Kohl Center as opposed to being a visitor where they are barely above 40% from the field.

7 out of the last 8 contests between these two Big Ten Rivals have resulted in the Total going Under based on the College Basketball Odds. It was 7 in a row until Wisconsin defeated the Buckeyes 3 weeks ago.

This game will be more based on strategy and playing the opponent trying to control the possessions and the game. This is not a power game here.

College Basketball Odds can always be beat even if you have to take the UNDER sometimes (hint).
