College Basketball Odds For Wednesday Night

The College Basketball Betting Odds are set for a pair of exciting matchups, featuring three of the Top 25 teams in the country. The first game on the docket will be the 24th ranked Temple Owls taking on #1 team in the nation, Duke. The Blue Devils come in as hefty 13 ½ point favourites or a -1200 favourite against the money line, but despite the big spread are still getting over 70% of the betting love. Second up in our College Basketball Odds preview is a good looking matchup between the Baylor Bears and the 21st ranked Missouri Tigers.

That game figures to be a little tighter as the spread is only 8 ½ in favour of the Tigers, with Baylor getting +335 on the money line while Mizzou is going off at -425.

#24 Temple Owls vs. #1 Duke Blue Devils (Cameron Indoor Stadium – Durham, NC)

Wednesday, February 23rd – 7 PM ET

The Blue Devils have only lost twice on the season and are winners of six straight. Combine that with nearly everyone in the Top 5 having slipped of late and they are once again the top team in the nation. Tonight they’ll be taking on Temple, the hottest team in the Atlantic-10 right now. The Owls have reeled off eight straight wins and only trail Xavier by a half game in the standings, so expect them to come out gunning in what is their biggest game of the season to date.

Duke Blue Devils -13 ½, -1200

It’s hard to make a bet against Duke, seeing as how they’ve been so impressive lately, but I just think 13 ½ is too many for a team like Temple that has been playing so well of late. The Owls have played some very good teams extremely tough on the road this year, and think they’ll keep this on within a dozen when it’s all said and done.

Baylor Bears vs. #21 Missouri Tigers (Mizzou Arena – Columbia, MO)

Wednesday, February 23rd – 9 PM ET

TV: ESPN2

A good old fashion Big 12 showdown is the second half of our College Basketball Odds preview as the Tigers of Missouri take on the Baylor Bears from Columbia, MO tonight. Mizzou has been two different teams this year. On the road, they’ve been more than suspect, picking up just their first conference road win of the season last time out. But at home, the Tigers have been untouchable. They’ve won all 16 home games this year, and are crushing the Big 12 from Mizzou Arena by an average of 17.3 points.

Baylor Bears +335

Missouri Tigers -8 ½, -425

Considering that fact alone, I just don’t see how the Bears can keep this one close. Combine that with the fact they’re fresh off a big conference road win, and I’ll put more than a few dollars that Missouri covers the College Basketball Odds tonight.
