• Jayhawks are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. Big 12.

• Jayhawks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win.

• Jayhawks are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record.

The Jayhawks have won two consecutive games and eight of its last nine games overall. Kansas is coming off an emphatic 92-65 win against Oklahoma State on Monday where they easily cashed in against the college basketball betting odds as a whopping 17-point home favorite to improve to 7-1 against the college basketball betting line over its L/8 games.

Kansas is 11-2 SU in Big 12 play this season and have won three of its last four road games in spite of taking a big loss against K-State last week. Kansas leads the nation in field goal percentage (52.1) while also leading the Big 12 in scoring (83.8), scoring margin (+19.0) and three-point field goal percentage (39.2).

Junior forward Marcus Morris scored a team-high 27 points to lead the Jayhawks to victory the last time out while averaging a stellar 18.7 points per game this season in Big 12 contests.

Twin brother Markieff Morris is averaging a Big 12-best 8.4 rebounds per game with 10 double-doubles this season.

Oklahoma 411

• Sooners are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games.

• Sooners are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

• Sooners are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

Oklahoma has lost six straight games coming into this contest including its 61-47 loss at No.21 Texas A&M on Wednesday while failing to cash in against the college basketball odds as a 12.5-point road underdog to fall to 1-4 ATS over its last five games.

The Sooners are just 4-9 in Big 12 Conference play this season and average just 66.0 points per game while allowing 67.8 points per contest defensively.

Sophomore forward Andrew Fitzgerald leads three players in double figure scoring (13.3 ppg) with senior guard Cade Davis just behind Fitzgerald in scoring by averaging 13.0 points per contest.

Prediction: The Oklahoma Sooners are in big trouble BetOnline collegiate roundball bettors!

Kansas has won six straight games in this series and beat the Sooners 81-68 almost one year ago to the day (Feb. 22, 2010) despite failing to cash in as a 20.5-point home favorite in that contest.

I’m expecting the Jayhawks to be favored in this game by anywhere between 6 and 12 points, but it really doesn’t matter unless the college basketball betting point spread is approaching 15 points.

The Jayhawks have gone 7-1 against the college basketball betting odds in their last eight games against their Big 12 conference rivals while Oklahoma has recorded a pitiful 0-5 record against the college basketball betting line in their last five home games against a team with a winning road record. Kansas wins this contest and wins it big BetOnline college basketball betting enthusiasts.
