Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers – NFL Picks

October 17, 2010

The Browns and Steelers hate each other as their fans know all too well, but do the Browns have what it takes to be an NFL picks winner this time around?

Cleveland is finally improving but Ben Roethlisberger is back and ready to continue his solid play against the Browns.

Can Cleveland stop the onslaught this weekend?

NFL Picks Odds: Pittsburgh favored at -13 ½

The Steelers will get their star QB back in this one but the Browns are in the opposite boat having had all sorts of issues at the position.

Jake Delhomme has been either injured or ineffective and Seneca Wallace is obviously not the answer at the backup spot.

Colt McCoy could be tapped as the starter in this one and the Texas rookie will face an uphill battle.

With the NFL picks favorite Steelers boasting two beastly pass rushers off the edge for lack of a better term in former Michigan star LaMarr Woodley and small-school diamond in the rough James Harrison (a former defensive

player of the year in the NFL), he will have his work cut out for him just staying poised in the pocket.

McCoy does have the ability to make good reads and quick throws but not in his first NFL start.

The run game isn’t up to par, either, with health issues plaguing the Browns’ top backs.

The Steelers can run, throw, and blitz all day in this one and interceptions are likely from the secondary regardless of who plays QB for the Browns.

The Steelers should be able to win this one going away in the coming home party for the 2-time Super Bowl-winning QB Roethlisberger.

Expect lots of fireworks in this one with the football picks favorite Steelers providing most of them for the fans at home.

NFL Picks Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers (-13 ½).
