The Colts are trying to win another AFC South division title but this year, it’s been a challenge as they continue to lose starters to injury. Just last week, Austin Collie was knocked unconscious after a catch. He was the latest NFL player to suffer a concussion and it will leave his out of the lineup for at least another week.

A few weeks ago, Manning’s favorite tight end Dallas Clark suffered a wrist injury the put him on the sidelines for the season. In true Manning fashion, Peyton made adjustments and Clark’s replacement Jacob Tamme has 17 catches and two touchdowns in two games.

The Colts running backs Joseph Addai and Mike Hart are uncertain for Sunday. Moreover, like the receiving core, the Colts are getting solid play from their backups, Donald Brown will get the start and fourth string rookie will see some carries after he scored two TDs last weekend.

The Manning is 6-0 with 17 touchdowns and just three interceptions in his career against the Bengals.

The Bengals have lost five straight and it doesn’t look good this weekend either. The one bright spot is the play of first ballot Hall of Famer Terrell Owens. Owens leads the team with 770 yards and seven touchdowns.

Owens play has made Palmer’s stats look better than Palmers actual play. He’s under throwing receivers and he’s thrown more interceptions than he’s throw touchdowns to Bengals receivers not named Terrell Owens (8 vs. 7).

The man missing out this year is Chad Ochocinco; Ochocinco is averaging just 59 yards a game and only has two touchdowns.

Defensively, the Bengals are allowing 23.9 points a game to opponents, while scoring just 20.9 on offense.
During the Bengals losing streak, they haven’t covered a spread. The NFL odds are just 7 points for this game and that shouldn’t stop the Colts from adding another win to their total over the Bengals.
