Christian Laettner’s Three Team College Basketball Parlay
January 14, 2010
If you haven’t been watching Betflix to catch up on what some of your favorite icons of the past have been doing, then you’re missing out. Christian Laettner swoops in with a three-team parlay that I couldn’t agree with more. It may seem obvious to take the first, second and third ranked team in a three-team parlay but it’s a play that too many are worried to break loose in college basketball betting.
Check out Christian’s breakdown as we follow the nation’s best in to a big college basketball betting weekend :
Texas Longhorns To Exact Revenge Against Aggies
The top-ranked Texas Longhorns might have been a BCS football disappointment, but their men’s basketball team has launched to an undefeated season thus far at 15-0 SU. With the second best overall offense at 88.1 points per game – a staggering average for any team – the school is certainly taking advantage of their first senior class in six seasons. At 8-3 ATS in 11 college betting games this season, the Longhorns are going to be an overwhelming favorite when they face their instate rival, the Texas A&M Aggies.
The Aggies are an average team overall, which should come as no surprise to the college basketball betting world. Yet overall they’ve been a decent play going 7-5 ATS. Making the bet somewhat difficult for the Longhorns will be the 3-7 ATS record the Longhorns have when playing A&M. Betting enthusiasts will remember the huge upset last year where the Aggies won 81-66, but no people on the planet will be more blood thirsty over that loss than the seniors returning to this marquee matchup for the state of Texas.

Kentucky Will Overwhelm Auburn On Saturday
John Wall has been the toast of the college basketball country this entire season, and there’s little reason to doubt why he wouldn’t be. At 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds he’s quickly being compared to Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls. With 17.3 points per game and 7.1 assists, Wall leads all Wildcats on the stat sheet but it’s his brilliant playmaking that makes him such a great player.
While the matchup against Auburn won’t be a tough matchup overall for the undefeated Wildcats, there is one piece of advice that they should take from Christian Laettner. If you haven’t watched the video yet, it’s worth it.

Kansas Jayhawks To Throttle Texas Tech Raiders
There’s no reason to think that Jayhawks are going to drop a second loss against Nebraska on Wednesday. Heading in to their Saturday matchup against Texas Tech, Bobby Knight Jr. has to be worried that his undermanned squad is going to get simply slaughtered by a vengeful Jayhawks team. Losing to Tennessee, and subsequently dropping out of the top spot in the AP Rankings, has to turn Kansas it to a team playing with an ultimate sense of urgency.
What Kansas excels at is offense, and what the Raiders are abysmal at is stopping ranked teams from bigger programs. The Raiders simply don’t stand a chance and combining wins from Texas and Kentucky with Kansas on a revenge roll for a big payout on a small play.
