Celtics at Lakers – NBA Finals Game 7
June 17, 2010
Do or die, win or lose, a step forward into history or a step back to being forgotten. That´s how decisive Game 7 is tonight when the Lakers host the Celtics at 9 PM ET at Staples Center in a must-bet match.
NBA Betting Odds:
Boston Celtics -7.5
Los Angeles Lakers +7.5
O/U 186
So the Celtics sucked in Game 6, but it won’t happen again, I can assure you. I just can´t see a veteran team playing so bad again.
Despite the fact that Kendrick Perkins’ absence will be negative for the Celtics, especially considering that whoever wins the rebounding battle has won the every single game in this series, the C´s should give a tough fight as their intensity will be up.
I know the embarrassment loss they suffered in Game Six was huge, but the ego of these guys won´t let them play like that again. Keep in mind that Boston is 8-0 ATS in away games revenging a road loss.
Paul Pierce said he loves the pressure of playing a Game Seven on a road. NBA betting fans, I have to be honest, this is a game to risk, as everybody thinks Los Angeles will win easily and if we have learned anything about this series, it is that you can´t take anything for granted.
The Celtics are 9-4 ATS after a loss by 10 points or more and 12-6 ATS in a road game where the total is between 185 and 189.5 points.
The Lakers are 6-8 ATS as a home favorite of 6.5 to 9 points and 2-9 ATS after allowing 85 points or less.
Consider that BOSTON is 12-5 against the spread versus LA LAKERS over the last 3 seasons. Five of the 9 games in this series have gone UNDER THE TOTAL over the last 3 seasons in games played at Los Angeles.
Simmons’ pick: Bet the Money line, Bet the Celtics +270
