Celtics To Stay On Red-Hot Roll Against Visiting Nets – New Jersey at Boston
The New Jersey Nets (32-45 SU, 39-37-1 ATS, 39-38 O/U) have won two of their last three games in the BetOnline Sportsbook, including an overwhelming 96-67 rout over the Philadelphia 76ers as a 2.5-point home underdog on Sunday.
Veteran shooting guard Vince Carter scored a team-high 15 points for New Jersey to lead a whopping seven players in double figures scoring while the combined score played Under the posted over/under total of 196 points.
The Boston Celtics (58-19 SU, 40-37 ATS, 37-39-1 O/U) come into tonight’s matchup riding a four-game SU winning streak while going a bankroll-boosting 4-1 ATS over their last five games.
The C’s spanked the Atlanta Hawks 104-92 on Friday to cover the spread for BetOnline NBA betting backers as 4.5-point home favorites while the final score played Over the 187.5-point O/U total.
All-star forward Paul Pierce scored a team-high 21 points as all five starters reached double figures in scoring.

Analysis: The Celtics had their seven-game ATS winning streak over the nets broken in their last meeting despite beating New Jersey on the road on 115-111 on March 4.
The Celtics have gone a stellar 32-6 SU but just 19-19 ATS at home this season while the Nets have recorded an excellent 21-17 ATS road record.
Despite those statistics which seem to point to a possible cover by the Nets tonight, I like the Celtics to keep their SU winning streak going while covering the spread for the second consecutive contest.
Boston has seen backup power forward Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis blossom this season while filling in more than capably for injured emotional leader Kevin Garnett. The Celtics are playing like they are headed on a serious postseason mission while the Nets are just waiting for pool season.
NBA Free Picks: Celtics -10½ Points/Under 193½ Total Points
